I am curious about the bi-monthly event for women. What is it and what do you do?

Ann, if you click on the “Witnesses to Hope” tab along the top of the page, you will find out more about our Witnesses to Hope meetings. (Hope you can make it to one or more of them.)

  2. Hi there,

I’m writing from Ireland. I just found your blog (through an image search for Rublev’s Holy Trinity Icon!) and it is beautiful work. I have just passed it on to all my women friends here in Cork. We will remember your community in our prayers and pray for vocations to such a beautiful work of God : )

Sarah, what a wonderful surprise! I actually have been to Cork, spent a couple of weeks there many years ago and loved the place and the people, and I would LOVE to visit again sometime . . . God willing. Many great memories. I still have a tape of a friend there reading aloud Frank O’Connor’s “First Confession” with a thick Cork accent. Wish I could stop by for a cuppa!

Glad to have you and your friends join the Witnesses to Hope group. Thank you so much for your prayers, and stay in touch! I welcome comments.

And P.S. You know, I quote Amy Carmichael quite a bit, and she was Irish. ;-)
